The real face of George

Those who knew Georgiou well here in Sotira, despite his professional activities, have only one good reason to say. He was a man who started from the profession of insurer, while he never stopped helping secretly and without the knowledge of many families who needed it. His contribution to Sotira was also great, since he offered on his own initiative financial support to various events of the Municipality, "wanting to help as the community said".

Georgiou was also the President of Onisilos Sotiras for a few months, during the period when the team was struggling to escape from financial adventures, but the bankruptcy and the creation of the new Onisilos 2014 Association was inevitable.

Death is due to injuries to the body and vital organs

The death of Giorgos Georgiou, otherwise known as "Tsikito", 40 years old, from Sotira, a resident of Pyla, is due to bodily and vital organ injuries from the two shots he received.

The legal autopsy on the body of the 40-year-old was performed at noon at the General Hospital of Nicosia by the medical examiner Angeliki Papetta.

In statements to KYPE, Ms. Papetta stated that Georgios's death was due to "injuries to his body and vital organs", which were caused by two shots he received.

Answering a relevant question, the medical examiner stated that one bullet hit Georgiou from behind, in the right shoulder and came out of the right hand.

The second bullet hit the 40-year-old from the front at the height of the heart and came out right at about the height of the lung.
