A fatal accident with the victim Panagiotis Koukkoullis, 37 years old from Deryneia, occurred on Wednesday morning on the road Larnaca - Dhekelia.
According to the Police, around six on Wednesday morning, Panagiotis Koukkoullis was driving a truck carrying garbage, when at some point on the road from Vrysoullon to Dekelia, under conditions that are being investigated, he lost control of the vehicle and overturned it. He was called to the scene. Men from the British Police Base of Dhekelia, the Fire Brigade and a crane were called to the scene, the operator of which managed to lift the truck and release the unfortunate Koukkoullis. The 37-year-old, who was married in Deryneia and the father of two children, was instantaneous. The circumstances under which the new fatal accident occurred are being investigated by the British Base Police, since the place where the accident took place is in the ground.
