The statue of the hero of EOKA, Foti Pitta, was desecrated by strangers at the Lyceum of Kokkinochorion Foti Pitta in Frenaros.
Unknown people entered the school premises at midnight on Sunday, writing slogans on the walls while at the same time desecrating the statue of the EOKA hero, Fotis Pittas, who comes from the community of Frenaros.
The incident is being investigated by the Police.
