Nicosia: A small school bus with seven students, four boys and three girls, aged 11 to 17, overturned on the main road near Trikomo, resulting in minor injuries to students, while the driver was not injured.
As reported in the occupied areas, the bus, heading to Trikomo, near the village of Sygrasi, hit the railing and overturned. The driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle while approaching an intersection, as a result of which he fell on the railing on the left, overturned and crawled.
According to a "police" announcement, the driver, Masialla Meneksie, 53, who has no injuries, was arrested and is being interrogated. The seven students were taken to the Famagusta hospital, received treatment and were kept under medical supervision.
