The 19-year-old was taken to a private clinic in the province of Famagusta, where he was found to have a broken lower jaw, as well as various abrasions and bruises on the neck, head and face. He underwent surgery and is being held for treatment.
The case involved two 21-year-olds, an 18-year-old and a 23-year-old, who were arrested on warrants and remanded in custody.
