An explosion completely destroyed a car in Paralimni

The Police attributes the destruction of a car by an explosion that took place this morning in Paralimni to professional disputes and enmities.

As Famagusta Police Spokesman George Oikonomou told KYPE, "Around 29 in the morning, a car exploded in a Mercedes, owned by a 6-year-old woman from Bulgaria, who works in a local brewery. The car suffered extensive damage from the explosion, the amount of which amounts to around XNUMX thousand euros ".

He added that the scene was blocked by the Police and from the first investigations and examinations carried out by men of the Police, the Fire Brigade and the Electromechanical Service, it became clear that a high-powered explosive was used for the explosion.

At the Paralimni Police, Mr. Oikonomou continued, the Bulgarian employer, who is a Cypriot, was called to testify, who told the investigators that he did not have any differences with anyone and attributed the causes of the explosion to professional rivalries.
Police investigations to clarify the case continue.
