With extensive aesthetic changes, upgraded interior, but -mainly- with new 3-cylinder petrol and diesel sets, the radically renewed BMW 1 Series continues its commercial "career".

It is time to renew the BMW 1 Series, which now follows the latest design logic of the Bavarian brand models. The entire front of the "small" BMW was changed, bringing a new grille, a different apron and new lights with LED daytime running lights. At an additional cost, fully LED lights, adjustable headlights with High Beam Assistant function and LED fog lamps with twisting technology are available.

Going inside the renewed Series 1, we notice new options in the wallpapers, 6,5 inch central screen, but also the Controller unit located in the center console. A larger Controller unit and an 8,8-inch screen are available as an option. Still, the buttons and controls now have a chrome border, while those of the air conditioning and sound system now have details in a glossy black shade.

The rear-wheel drive version does the 0-100 km / h at 5,1 dl. with the standard 6-speed manual transmission, while when equipped with the 8-speed Steptronic, it needs 4,9 dl. The four-wheel drive xDrive, again, with the standard Steptronic automatic transmission is faster, as it completes the process in 4,7 dl. Finally, all versions have an electronically limited top speed of 250 km / h.
