In the hands of the Colombian police is a 23-year-old hitman who spread terror with her gang.
Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez, known to Colombian police as "La Muñeca" ("The Doll"), has been arrested on charges of a string of murders she allegedly committed on behalf of the Los de la M gang, including a recent assassination attempt to her ex-boyfriend in Barrancambermecha, as reported by the Daily Mail.
At the same time as Rodriguez, the police also arrested two of her accomplices and confiscated their weapons, which were sent for ballistics analysis.

The 23-year-old leader of a small network of executioners, who had spread terror in the area where they operated in Colombia.
Among her alleged victims was her ex-boyfriend, Davy Jesus, who was murdered on July 23 in an ambush in Piedequesta, in the Santander region of northeastern Colombia. The 23-year-old phoned her ex-partner and asked him to meet to resolve a money dispute, but the man was shot dead by two assassins who drove past the rendezvous on motorbikes.

According to sources in the Latin American country's intelligence services, the 23-year-old was a key figure in the criminal gang, whose members used firearms and their connections to take out their targets unhindered.
The arrests of the "doll" and her accomplices brought back to the fore the problem of high crime in Buracamanga, the capital of the Santander region, where 30 homicides were recorded in the first quarter of this year alone, mainly in street fights, settlement of accounts and incidents of domestic violence.
