Beethoven's DNA composition 200 years after his death (video)

About two centuries after the death of Ludwig Van Beethoven, the DNA of the great musician became the source for the composition of another piece of music…

The DNA was extracted from a tuft of Beethoven's hair, which, passed down from generation to generation, managed to survive all these years, even surviving from the Auschwitz concentration camp!

After analyzing DNA and using the Cymatics technique, Scottish composer Stuart Mitchell was able to form a musical pattern from Beethoven's genes. Then he composed the melody with the help of piano and viola and dressed it with lyrics from a love letter of the German musician.
