The large number of cases and hospitalizations does not leave room for great relaxation, said the head of the advisory scientific committee, Konstantinos Tsioutis.
Dr. Tsioutis also said that most of the patients are people who have been infected with the Omicron variant, which has prevailed in the community.
Dr. Tsioutis was speaking at an event held in the metropolis of Tamassos and Orini with the aim of informing the public about vaccination issues.
