The minimum wage will be set at 780 euros from April 1, as Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced today.

This is, as he noted, an increase of 9,4%.

As the prime minister pointed out, the increase is at the maximum margin of the country's possibilities and reminded that the salary in 2019 amounted to 650 euros.

Labor Minister Kostis Hatzidakis is expected to make detailed announcements at a press conference at 11:00.
