The local community of Volos is shocked by the double murder that took place on Monday night in Makrinitsa, Pelion. Already in the hands of the police, after a manhunt, is the perpetrator who had escaped after killing his ex-wife and her brother.
The double murder took place at 8 in the evening, when the 31-year-old entered the paternal home of his ex-wife and after an intense quarrel, he managed to kill the two brothers with fatal knives, as a result of which they died.
According to local media, the woman seems to have received the knives in the abdomen and ribs, as a result of which the man succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital and the man in the abdomen and heart, which immediately caused his death.
The rupture in their relationship
It is also reported that the perpetrator was harassing the woman and her family, who had even asked for legal assistance to stop harassing them.
According to the website ethessalia.gr, the 28-year-old had an affair with her ex-husband six years ago and two years ago they got married. From their relationship they had a four-year-old boy.

A few minutes after 21:00 on Monday, the perpetrator is located with his IX car moving from the ring road to Agria, through the tunnel. That is where his pursuit by a Volos Security vehicle begins.
The 31-year-old moves at high speed towards Lechonia, continues to Agios Vlasios, makes a U-turn and returns in the direction of Ano Lechonia. At this point, a Security vehicle blocks his way to stop his crazy race, and then he ramps the car, fortunately without injuring any occupants.
At 21:25, the police handcuffed him and led him to the Magnesia Police Department, while the services made his vehicle "leaf and feather", finding the murder knife inside it.

According to the same source, a tragic figure was the police officer who was the first to arrive at the scene of the murder after receiving a call to "100" from the 28-year-old woman.
