The well-known method "open we are from PPC" was used by perpetrators in Thessaloniki who stole a safe from an apartment where elderly people lived.
Two of the total five perpetrators rang the bells of the apartment building on the city's coastal road, they said they were from PPC to fix a problem with the electricity, they managed to get inside.
They convinced the elderly that there was damage and with the employment method, having them in the kitchen, they managed to lower the safe to the entrance where the other three accomplices were waiting for them to load into the car.
As soon as this was done and the vehicle started, the safe was dropped in front of the stunned bystanders. Something that happened a second time a little further down, that's why one sat in the trunk to hold it.
It is worth noting that before the elderly, they had rung another bell saying that it was from EYDAP this time.
