Incredible incident in Greece: A baby was crawling on the street alone
The incident that took place at midnight on Tuesday in Elassona is unprecedented. A one and a half year old baby was found on the street crawling alone in the night when cars were passing by, fortunately not many due to the late hour.
A girl was passing by in her car and could not believe her eyes when she saw the baby in the middle of the main street. She immediately stopped and ran to take the baby in her arms.
The young driver immediately alerted the police, while at the same time asking for help. The police arrived at the spot and picked up the baby, trying at the same time to calm down the girl who was in a panic.
The strange case is being investigated by the Elassona Police Department, while the information states that the child's parents have been located.
Speaking to elassonanews.gr, the girl said that she is still trying to recover from the shock. As he stressed, he feels happy that he was able to save the baby. "It does not occur to me that evil could have happened," he confesses.
"I took it in my arms, called the police and started shouting. A neighbor who knew my mother heard me and called her. Both she and the police came. "I am still shocked," he added.
Today she herself visited the little girl at home with his family and his mother constantly thanked her. He also testified to the police this morning.
