There is good news for the 20-year-old PAOK fan who was injured in the car accident in Romania and remains in the Timisoara hospital as it was determined that he needed to undergo surgery.

According to ERT, the attending physicians at the Romanian hospital decided to extubate the 20-year-old, who is now breathing without support.

The young fan remains, however, in the ICU with doctors waiting in the coming hours and days for the evolution of his health.

It is recalled that the 20-year-old had to undergo surgery on Wednesday night as the tests he underwent revealed that he had swelling in his neck, which was successfully removed as there was fear of permanent damage to his body.
