Dimitris Lignadis: Third prosecution against him for rape

Dimitris Lignadis is facing a new criminal prosecution for raping a minor. The complaint of another man that 7 years ago and when he was 17 years old he was raped by the well-known director and actor led to a new prosecution against him.

This is the fourth man who complained that he was abused by the imprisoned former artistic director of the National Theater.

The 24-year-old man initially testified as a witness before the 19th investigator handling the case, however, he later complained that he was also a victim of Dimitris Lignadis and accused him of raping him inside his house.

The new complaint came under the microscope of the prosecutor who after the completion of the investigation conducted that he judged that there is sufficient evidence against the accused to lead to a new criminal prosecution.

Dimitris Lignadis took the road to prison after apologizing for the crime of serial rape of minors.

Last March, the prosecutor in charge filed another rape lawsuit against him. Today, Dimitris Lignadis is again in the position of the accused after the new prosecution, the third in a row, which was exercised against him for raping a minor.
