The 8 arrested for the murder of 19-year-old Alkis, according to information from ERT and the reporter G. Gerafentis, "photograph" a 21-year-old Greek, who is one of those arrested, as the perpetrator of the murder.

By order of the prosecutor, DNA and fingerprints are taken for the intersection with the findings on the weapon used in the murder. It is not marked and his fingerprints were not in the police base.

Yesterday, the police authorities in Thessaloniki proceeded to a barrage of arrests of eight people involved in the murderous attack in the area of Charilaou, with the victim being 19-year-old Alkis Kampanos, after simultaneous searches and raids on houses. Two more of the 10 arrest warrants issued yesterday are pending. The 23-year-old, who was initially arrested as the perpetrator of the brutal murder of February 1 with fan motives, crossed the threshold of the investigator today to apologize. He has been prosecuted, among other things, for the crime of joint homicide with deceit, in a row, committed and attempted.

Through his lawyer, he now acknowledges that he was at the scene of the attack but claims that he did not touch the unfortunate 19-year-old or his friends.

"The investigation into the murder of Alkis will reach the end and the perpetrators will be brought to justice," said Civil Protection Minister Takis Theodorikakos.

The arrested are all between 20 and 23 years old. Six young men were first arrested, five Greeks and one of Albanian nationality. Three of them - according to police sources - have previously occupied the prosecuting authorities and were known as "tough" PAOK fans. Late at night it became known that two other Greeks had been arrested.

One of the pending warrants is against the 20-year-old alleged accomplice who fled to Albania crossing the Greek-Albanian border, from the Krystallopigi border station on February 2, just hours after the arrest of his 23-year-old friend Alkis. The specific person is allegedly accused of the other attack, together with his 23-year-old compatriot, in March 2019, again in Charilaou.

The questions that the Security police are now trying to answer are with which vehicle the 20-year-old left for Albania, if he will return for the trial that is pending against him from 2019 and most importantly if he had with him someone involved in his murder. 19-year-old Alki.
