The data of the European Copernicus service are revealing about the extent of the fire that burned more than 100.000 acres in just a few 24 hours.
On a map published by the service, as of Monday night (12/8) the fiery blaze had burned 85.000 acres and stretched 23 kilometers.
In the meantime, the fire brigade was called to deal with 168 scattered outbreaks.
