All the spotlight may have fallen on the triumph of Kyriakos Mitsotakis and New Democracy as the election map was "painted" blue, however Sunday's polls revealed some paradoxes.
Among them, Demosthenes Vergis has a special place who ran in the elections with the party "Demosthenes Vergis GREEK ENVIRONMENTALISTS".
And that's because with integrated results from 99,62% of the polling stations, Demosthenes Vergis found himself getting only one vote! Predictably the utterly disappointing election performance was widely commented on on Twitter with users asking: "Didn't his own people vote for him either?"
