As protothema.gr previously wrote, Kyriakos Pierrakakis will take over as Minister of Finance, replacing Kostis Hatzidakis, who is moving to the Maximos Mansion to the position of vice president.
Nikos Papathanasis remains in the Ministry of Finance, who is "running" the pending matters of the Recovery Fund and is considered a man of absolute trust by Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
In the Ministry of Education, in place of Mr. Pierakkakis, Sofia Zacharaki is transferred from the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, with Domna Michaelidou taking over her position, with Elena Rapti as Deputy Minister, who is leaving the Ministry of Tourism and Anna Karamanli taking her place. The current Secretary General Nikos Papaioannou and MP Kostas Vlassis are appointed as Deputy Ministers in the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport will be taken over by the former Deputy Minister of Finance, Christos Dimas, while the Deputy Minister of Transport will be Konstantinos Kyranakis. It is noted that Mr. Dimas will be replaced by Giorgos Kotsiras.
Makis Voridis takes over the reins of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum with Chania MP Sevi Voloudaki as Deputy Minister.
Stavros Papastavrou returns to the government, who will lead the Ministry of Environment and Energy, which will remain unified. The same ministry will utilize Prime Minister's Advisor Nikos Tsafos, as Undersecretary at the Ministry of Energy and Environment.
Vasilis Kikilias moves from the Ministry of Civil Protection and takes over the Ministry of Shipping
At the level of deputy ministers, Christos Boukoros is placed in the Ministry of Digital Governance, Kostas Katsafados in the Ministry of Civil Protection, Anna Efthymiou in the Ministry of Labor, Thanasis Davakis in the Ministry of Defense, Yiannis Lambropoulos in the Ministry of Citizen Protection, Aristos Doxiadis and Lazaros Tsavdaridis in the Ministry of Development.
According to information, former minister Notis Mitarakis, who had been considered for inclusion in the ministerial team, is expected to be nominated for the position of secretary of New Democracy instead of Maria Syrengela.
