The local community in Kyparissia is shocked by the bloody incident that took place in a shop in the city at noon on Wednesday (07.04.2021). The perpetrator is a retired lottery seller and the victim is a shopkeeper, father of a 1,5 year old child!

It all happened inside a telephony store on Eleftheriou Venizelou Street in Kyparissia, at around 12:00 on Wednesday afternoon. A 72-year-old man entered the store and according to the first information had an intense argument with a 39-year-old employee.
The first, unconfirmed information states that the 72-year-old strongly protested to the store employee for the amount of his bill.
After the argument, the 72-year-old left the store but a little while later, he returned armed, most likely with a revolver and shot the 39-year-old in the abdomen, seriously injuring him. The victim was taken to the hospital, but a short time later succumbed to his injuries.
Immediately after the shooting, the perpetrator fled the scene. However, a little while later he was handed over to the AT. Clover.
