The parents of 28-year-old Konstantina, who was brutally murdered on April 5, together with her brother, in Makrinitsa, Pelion, submitted an application in order for their little grandson not to have his father's surname.
The Tsapa couple, who are now raising the angel, want no negative memories to follow their grandson and to rid the family of hearing the name of the perpetrator of the double murder that only causes anger and pain.
"We do not want the child to have that name. This adjective is over for us. We do not want it to be heard anymore ", said the tragic grandparents in the Post of Volos and added that his last name killer can stigmatize the minor, who is already suffering a lot psychologically, since he is deprived of the most important presence for a child, his mother, who he loved it as long as he lived.
"It is very important for us to change the name of the child, whose final custody we have with a court decision and we requested this today (note yesterday) at the Volos Registry, as we have the right to do," he notes.
The Tsapas couple lost their two children forever in one night. Today he lives in a new house in a wider area of Volos with his grandson and he makes sure that he does not have any painful memories behind him. "It simply came to our notice then. "Only our souls know that we live after the horrible massacre", he points out, opening his heart to the newspaper.
