The new measures of the government for the non-spread of the Omicron mutation, which is spreading in our country, come into force from tomorrow, December 30th. Thus, according to the announcements of the Minister of Health, Thanos Plevris, from 06:00 on the morning of Thursday, December 30, restaurants and restaurants will be open until 12:00 at midnight only with people sitting at tables up to six people, with the exception of New Year's Eve, when the shops will be open until 2:00 in the morning.

At the same time, music is prohibited, in order to minimize the possibility of the spread of the mutation, while the bars will be open until 12:00, also without music.

It is also suggested to take a test for participation in the family festive table.

At the same time, from tomorrow the other measures will enter into force:

  • Mandatory use of a high protection mask or double mask in supermarkets, MMM but also for catering employees. Recommendation for same masks or double where there is color.
  • The stadiums will have 10% fullness with a spectator ceiling of 1.000 spectators. If the measures are not observed, the matches will be held behind closed doors.
  • The visit to the care units for the elderly will be done only with a 48-hour pcr test, while in the hospitals the medical visitors are prohibited and the controls in the visitors are intensified.
  • Teleworking in the State up to 50%, depending on how each body will judge. Also, in the same percentage, teleworking in the private sector is proposed, with the final percentage being determined by the employers.
