The final "goodbye" to Lena Samaras, who passed away suddenly at the age of just 34, is being said today by relatives and friends. Her funeral will be held at 13:00 PM at the Church of Saints Theodoros of the First Cemetery of Athens.
The family of Antonis and Georgia Samaras has made known their desire, instead of wreaths, to support organizations with charitable purposes and activities. "This is what our Lena would have wanted," Antonis Samaras wrote in his post, listing the three organizations and their account numbers.
Lena Samara passed away last Thursday evening at Evangelismos Hospital, following a sudden and serious deterioration in her health.

"Patient E.S. was transported by ambulance on 7/8 at around 13:00 to the Emergency Department of the General Hospital of SISMANOGLIO during the morning service, where she was examined by a team of doctors (neurologist, pathologist, cardiologist, ophthalmologist) and a full neurological, pathological, cardiological and ophthalmological assessment was carried out.
After the complete clinical, laboratory and imaging examination was completed, it was deemed necessary to transfer her to a neurological clinic. The patient was transported stabilized by ambulance and accompanied by a doctor to the General Hospital "Evangelismos" and was admitted to the Neurological Clinic of the hospital for further investigation and treatment.
During the investigation of the causes of her condition, the patient experienced rapid deterioration and despite the superhuman efforts of the hospital's medical and nursing staff, the patient died on 07/08 at 22:29".
