A 27-year-old Syrian national who was depicted - in a video revealed by the Greek media - participating in the abuse of prisoners and other atrocities of ISIS, was arrested by the Counter-Terrorism Service in the hostel structure of Eleonas.
The 26-year-old who had entered Greece as a refugee in March 2018 was in the last months under the microscope of ELAS since there was a flow of information and exchange of visual material from abroad and other investigations for his involvement in the action of the Islamic State.

"A 19-year-old foreigner, a Syrian citizen, was arrested by the Counter-Terrorism Service (DAEEV) in the early morning hours of 11-2020-27, against whom a criminal case was filed for joining and participating as a member of the terrorist organization. ISIS / DA'ESH, as well as for terrorist acts of direct assistance in homicide, with deceit, in a calm state of mind, jointly and consecutively.
The arrested person, who entered our country on 28-03-2018, while being examined, accepted the charges against him and with the case against him, he is being brought before the Prosecutor of the Athens Court of First Instance.
