The change of the epidemiological rules in the direction of the complete lifting of the restrictions for the vaccinated citizens, announced the Greek Minister of Health Thanos Plevris.
Specifically, as he announced, the measure of the traffic ban for certain hours and the mini lockdown for the red areas is now over.
"The red areas will be marked on the epidemiological map of the country in order to inform the citizens, so that they are very careful and do not forget to observe the protection measures against the coronavirus such as the mask and the distances", said Mr. Plevris.
Therefore, the entry of an area at the red marking level will not lead to further traffic restriction measures.
At the same time, the vaccinated citizens are given additional freedoms, as in the restaurants and entertainment areas that are available exclusively to vaccinated people, the guests will be able to have fun as before the coronavirus, as mentioned by Mr. Plevris.
This measure means that there is no question of banning music in restaurants for vaccinated people and the guests will be able to stand up.
"A key criterion for our freedom is the increase in vaccination and we want to send the message that where the risk is lower, freedoms will reach the norm," he said, noting that "we are now in the process of getting such "measures to win back our lives", said Mr. Plevris.
