The thriller takes on new dimensions with the abuse of the 8th in Rhodes, as her grandfather was again summoned to an illegal trial as a suspect for committing sexual crimes.
And while the evaluation of the pre-investigation material collected by the Rhodes Security Sub-Directorate for the case that shocked the Panhellenic with the victim of an 8-year-old girl and his aunt as the main suspect, according to the "Democratic Party of Rhodes", the grandfather of the little is required to provide explanations in the context of the new preliminary.
The acts under investigation are the following:
Ongoing rape
Sexual intercourse with a minor who has not completed 12 consecutive years
Acts of abuse of a minor in continuous sexual acts
Abuse incapable of resisting sexual intercourse on an ongoing basis
The deposit that "burns" him
The reason why the 78-year-old re-entered the microscope of the Authorities is the deposition of a 52-year-old expatriate from the USA, on October 23, 2021, in the Security of Heraklion, based on which she was a victim of sexual abuse of her grandfather from 1978 to 1982.
In fact, she allegedly reported her abuse in January 2012 in a letter to the Rhodes Public Prosecutor's Office, however no progress has been made in the case.
As she claimed, she saw that an investigation was underway in Rhodes for the 8-year-old, while when she heard her grandfather's name she decided to inform (again) about the nightmare she had lived.
What the aunt's companion testified
Meanwhile, according to the same source, the partner of the 50-year-old aunt, who until recently was the main suspect in the abuse of the 8-year-old, claimed in his testimony that the minor had shown them on tablet scenes from a page with pornographic content, claiming that her grandfather had sexually abused her.
Allegations that the aunt had also supported, while the mother of the child had initially put her father in the frame of the suspects.
It is recalled that the grandfather had testified illegally for the same crimes on October 14, 2021 before the police of the Rhodes Security Sub-Directorate as his daughter left open the possibility that he was a perpetrator of the heinous crime.
The 78-year-old had then categorically denied what was attributed to him, stressing that he and his wife have actually taken over the upbringing of the children. At the same time, he claimed that as soon as his daughter noticed the irritation in the genitals of the 8-year-old, she wanted to denounce her estranged husband.
As for his daughter, he pointed out that he has problems, but also that he has caused issues in the past, however they have forgiven her, further clarifying that he is just strict with the 8-year-old child.
What the forensic examination showed
It is recalled that from the forensic examination and the examination of a gynecologist it was found that the 8-year-old had inflammation, but also a partial rupture of her hymen.
It was also ruled out that she had been raped unnaturally, while the incomprehensible description of the child suffering from mental deprivation was "refuted", according to which her grandfather put something that she describes as a knife.
In his latest report, the medical examiner speculates that the child's abuse came from a finger. Something that the aunt had initially confessed, but took back.
