It is not often said, especially in Greece where there is no proper infrastructure to help children who have a difference such as Down syndrome.

Mrs. Katerina Frosini gave birth to her fourth child 22 years ago, who she knew had Down syndrome, however she and her husband decided to keep it and raise it together with his other 3 brothers.

By the time he was 4, Joachim was crawling down and not only was he not talking but he could not stand up. Until someone talked to their parents about the Glen Doman Institute program in America.

His parents went to the United States and learned everything about the program, which eventually gave their young son a new lease of life. Joachim, 22, may not have finished the last two years of high school, but he already works in his father's accounting office and has a normal life.

In fact, he and his mother wrote a book entitled "I am Joachim… Learn how I overcame Down syndrome" which has already helped thousands of families to cope with the situation, in order for children suffering from the syndrome to have a normal life like everything else.
