Titans and uneven is the battle fought by the hundreds of firefighters since yesterday at 3 in the afternoon with the fire in north-eastern Attica which first appeared in the area of Varnavas and has now reached Penteli while also threatening Nea Makri.
As the fire department's press representative said in his first update on Monday morning, "all the Civil Protection forces fought hard all night and despite superhuman efforts, the fire developed rapidly."
A more typical expression of this phrase is the image captured by the camera lens outside the Penteli Children's Hospital, from which a total of 29 children had to be removed.

It is recalled that 510 firefighters with 16 forest commando teams and 152 vehicles, as well as a large number of volunteers, are working on the huge front of the fire in northeastern Attica, with the assistance of all relevant agencies.
