The Prosecution of the Court of First Instance of Volos filed a criminal prosecution yesterday for "abuse of a person incapable of resistance, in a sexual act" against a 30-year-old man, following a relevant complaint made by the parents of a 15-year-old girl to the police.
According to ERT and according to what they complained, the teenager, who has a partial mental disability, met the 30-year-old defendant, of Albanian nationality, on a social networking site last Tuesday.
At his invitation, the young woman went to his house and then he allegedly had sexual intercourse with her, against her will and taking advantage of her mental state.
The 15-year-old confessed what happened to her parents when she returned home and they filed a complaint with the police.
The 30-year-old was arrested last night and taken to the public prosecutor, who prosecuted him for felony criminal misuse of a person incapable of resistance, in a sexual act and referred him to the investigator to apologize.
The man will apologize tomorrow, Friday, as he asked for and received a deadline to prepare his apology.
Until then, however, he remains a prisoner.
According to ERT, the 30-year-old claims that he did not have sexual intercourse with the 15-year-old, nor did he know that he was mentally retarded.
