They reported that they were attacked by firefighters in Larissa, when they were called to assist in extinguishing a fire.
In particular, in the early hours of December 18, the call center of the Larissa Fire Department received a call for a fire in a trash can in a district of Larissa, according to the newspaper "Eleftheria" and as relayed by onlarissa.gr.
However, it later turned out that the announcement of the fire in a bucket was false, as when two firefighters arrived at the alleged point, they were attacked by an unknown person, who shot them with an airgun.
The two were not injured and for security reasons left the area.
Police were called to the scene, but were unable to locate the perpetrator.
The local leadership was also informed about the attack, while the case is being investigated by the Hellenic Police.
