Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soilou blames the Greek Coast Guard, claiming that he threw three migrants into the sea in the area of Smyrna, leading one of them to death.
In a post on Twitter, the Turkish Minister wrote, "Barbarism, murder; the Greek Coast Guard threw migrants into the sea off Cesme in Karaanda. Two of them were rescued, one died. Let the EU, the messenger of freedom and human rights, sleep the sleep of law. "The Frontex killer must be held accountable."
The Turkish Minister also posted a video with one of the survivors, who says that the Greek police took their mobile phones as well as their money, and threw them into the sea. He also states that one of the three drowned and the two swam to the island where they were collected by the Turkish Coast Guard.
