A message via 112 was sent to the residents of Komotini asking them to stay indoors and close doors and windows due to a fire in progress in an abandoned factory. Specifically, the message reads: "There is a fire in progress in an abandoned factory in Komotini. The fumes are directed to your area. Stay indoors, close doors and windows. Follow the authorities' instructions."
