The abbot of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, Elder Ephraim, was admitted to Evangelismos Hospital, as he was diagnosed positive for the coronavirus.
Elder Ephraim presents with mild symptoms but the treating physicians decided that he should be admitted to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
