The Mixed Jury Court of Kos sentenced the 06.02.2023-year-old father to 73 years in prison on Monday (12).
The court found him guilty of "abuse of a person incapable of resisting sexual intercourse in succession" and of "genital intercourse between relatives in succession".

Apologizing, the 73-year-old claimed that the one and only time any sexual act took place was on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

"I know what happened was wrong and I regret my action. I apologize to all my family and especially to my daughter," he emphasized, adding that it was his daughter who started it, because of the mental health problems she has that may make it difficult for her to manage her sexual urges.
"But the mistake was also mine since I didn't resist as much as I should have. Every day I fight with myself and regret what happened to me,' she added, while claiming that he kept telling her that 'what you're doing is not right', 'I'm your father, don't do it', until she gave in!
"As if the devil entered me. I know that the act of love between relatives is a great evil and a great sin, and I recognize it and am willing to pay for the sin. But that's all that happened," he added, categorically denying that he raped his disabled daughter.
However, expert opinions from a psychiatrist and a medical examiner converge on the commission of the alleged crime.
Everything was revealed by the 49-year-old's brother, who also has custody of her. In fact, according to him, his sister was also raped by another man in 2016.
