As people who gave love to the children of the Ark of the World, today Panos Mouzourakis described father Antonio and his seven co-accused in the trial for the physical abuse of minors food of the NGO.
The singer, who testified as a defense witness for the defendants, hinted that there was an organized plan against the NGO and characterized Father Antonio's attitude towards the prosecutions he is facing as "spiritual exemplification"!
Among other things in his testimony, Mr. Mouzourakis mentioned about father Antonios: "When I met him I was going through some darkness. I had lost faith in myself and people. The way Father Antonios worked in me was cathartic. I have taken things from him. I watched the children play basketball and when Father Antonios appeared, there was an open invitation of joy from them to join the game. If he was a satrap, I don't imagine he would receive so much joy and love from children. The looks of the children convinced me. I have 3 brothers and it was chaos in our house. There I even saw the one who would be described as a bully taking the hand and reassuring but little children. What Father Antonios did worked for the children."
Defense: You have a daughter. If there was a reason to trust your child in a Structure would you? In a structure with Father Antonio?
Witness: With eyes closed.
Defense: When you heard about the complaints what did you think?
Witness: That there is some purpose behind it. Putting together the puzzle of the events that were unfolding at the time and the fact that the complaints were coming from everywhere it all seemed organized. I don't know if there was guidance. Everything was coming, finances and complaints. Similar cases like Father Antonio's have either been tried or covered up by the media.
Defense: After these complaints, did you continue to have spiritual father Antonio?
Witness: I didn't want to put him in a position to confess, because I felt more that we should support him. This whole attitude of his is a spiritual exemplification.
The trial continues.
