The competent prosecutor's office of Larissa has decided to satisfy the full request of Panos Routsis for the exhumation and conduct of toxicological tests on the body of his son, Dennis Routsis, who was killed in the Tempi accident.
Panos Routsi, who is on a hunger strike in Syntagma for the 22nd day, had requested the exhumation of his son, wanting answers about the circumstances of his death.
Initially, permission was granted for the exhumation and DNA tests to identify the body, a decision that did not satisfy Mr. Routsi, who continued his hunger strike. Now, the Larissa First Instance Prosecutor's Office has given the "green light" for toxicological tests to be conducted on Dennis Routsi's body.
Judicial sources note that the decision does not mean that the investigation into the tragic Tempi accident is starting again. The date for the start of the trial for the accident is expected to be determined within the day. The case file that will be formed with the results of the examinations - identification and toxicology - of the exhumation, will be separate
