Another new criminal prosecution against 33-year-old Roulas Pispirigou was brought today by the prosecutors investigating the case. This time the new criminal prosecution concerns the crime of intentional homicide in a calm state of mind in a row for the deaths of her other two children, Malena and Iris Daskalaki.
In particular, Antonis Eleftherianos and Apostolos Andreou have completed their preliminary investigation that they were conducting and judged that there are strong indications that Roula Pispirigou, who is already in custody for the homicide and the attempted homicide of her 9-year-old daughter Georgina, has taken her own life and of her other two children.
As it became known, the main finding on which the new prosecution was based is the forensic report of Karakoukis - Kalogria. At the same time, the fact that both acts took place in the presence of the mother, but also that she has allegedly done it on other occasions, as in the case of her 9-year-old daughter Georgina, acted as an aggravating factor for Roula Pispirigou. That is, there is a modus operandi (way it works).
For reference, in the case of the death of 3,5-year-old Malenas, the doctors seem to describe the image of a mother screaming but the child being cold, with one of the doctors testifying to an "image of being transported by ambulance from a distance".
It should be noted that the prosecutors gave special weight to the doctors' testimony, but also to the fact that Malena is described as a sociable, happy and cheerful child, who has overcome leukemia.
As the doctors state in their statements, the child left completely suddenly, which could only be justified if he was in the last stage of cancer, while Malena had overcome it and had been medically checked before starting chemotherapy.
At the same time, the traces of blood found in the mouth of 6-month-old Iris were the most important element that led the prosecutors to the judgment that the death of the unfortunate Iris was the product of criminal activity.
Finally, the mortuary rigidity, which had already occurred when the rescuers arrived, who found that the child was cold, lead to the conclusion that death had occurred hours before they were called to help.
