The pilot who was missing since Thursday morning after the fall of the civil helicopter in the sea area of Achladi beach in North Evia was found dead.
After many hours of research, the body of the unfortunate man was found in the sea today.
According to information from evima, the unfortunate man was found at a depth of 52 meters, while according to ERT, his body was recovered by men of the Coast Guard.
The fatal flight
As it has become known, the A-109 helicopter took off yesterday at 08:00 in the morning from the heliport of Afidna, at 08:45 the operator informed that he would land in Mantoudi Evia, at 09:00 he landed and at 10:13 he took off.
The operator then lost contact and alerted the authorities.
Experts are trying to determine the reasons that led to the fall from the data available so far and the videos that exist from the moment the helicopter crashed into the sea.
