Greece is on strike today after announcing a 24-hour nationwide strike
Greece is on strike today, after the announcement of a 24-hour nationwide strike by the Executive Committee of the Unions of Public Employees, which expresses its opposition to the new bill of the Ministry of Labour.
As it states in its announcement, ADEDY demands the withdrawal of the bill and invites the workers to participate in the gatherings that will take place throughout the country.
The teachers' federations, as well as the Unions of the medical and nursing staff, have already announced their participation in the strike.
The flights to and from the Greek airports will be carried out normally, after the decision of the Court of First Instance of Athens, which deemed their strike announced for today as illegal and abusive.
