The city's police authorities have arrested two people for the explosion that occurred in the boiler room of a primary school in Serres, which resulted in the death of an 11-year-old student and the injury of two others (6 and 10 years old).
According to an announcement by EL.AS., these are the people responsible for the project of converting a heating burner into a geothermal heat pump, of the 9th primary school where the fatal explosion occurred. The first, according to information, is the 52-year-old contractor of the project and the second the 43-year-old electrician.
The case file, a spontaneous proceeding, which was filed against them refers to the offenses of manslaughter by negligence, bodily harm, serially, by negligence, as well as explosion by negligence.
