Heavy snowfall was also recorded in Arnea, Halkidiki, and in Chortiatis. The snowfall in the mountainous areas of Thessaloniki resulted in the closure of two roads. In particular, traffic has been suspended on the provincial roads of Chortiatis - Agios Vasilios and Melissochori - Oreokastro.
