Archbishop Anastasios of Albania is intubated in the ICU

The state of health of His Beatitude the Archbishop of Albania Mr. Anastasios showed a rapid deterioration.

According to a new medical release from the "Evangelismos" hospital, where he is being treated, the Archbishop of Albania was transferred this morning to the ICU where he was intubated.

It is recalled that the 95-year-old Archbishop Anastasios was rushed to Athens from Tirana.

Since December 30, Archbishop Anastasios was hospitalized in Tirana hospital with a virus. His health condition had worsened, he suffered from gastric bleeding and it was deemed necessary to transfer him to "Evangelism".
