25-year-old Anisia, who was injured in the train collision in Tempi and remains hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of the Papanikolaou hospital in Thessaloniki, woke up from sedation. Communication with the environment has been restored, according to grtimes, and her health is showing steady improvement. For most of the day the young lady breathes on her own.

"The little girl has 28% burns and has injuries to her head, chest, spine. Our specialists, the best the hospital has, are over her head, neurosurgeons, thoracic surgeons, surgeons, orthopedists. She is badly injured and with burns, but we have high hopes that she will live," said the director of the ICU in Papanikolaou, Dimitris Kapravelos.
