Two buses collided in Voula – At least 32 injured, including minors

At least one person is reported to have been seriously injured in the accident involving OASA vehicles.

Two OASA buses collided this morning (04/07), at approximately 11:30, in Voula. At least 32 people (20 adults) were injured in the serious accident.

According to initial information, there is at least one seriously injured person, who has already been transferred to the Asklepieion Hospital in Voula. Among the injured, there are 12 minors, who were transferred to Aglaia Kyriakou.

The accident occurred on Karamanlis Avenue near Voula's A' Beach, on the way to Sounio, under unknown circumstances.

8 ambulances, 3 mobile units and 2 EKAB engines have rushed to the scene.

The bus collision has caused traffic problems from the height of Glyfada Golf to the point of the incident.

How the bus collision in Voula happened
Initial information indicates that the buses were traveling in the same lane on Karamanlis Avenue, when under unknown circumstances, one crashed into the other.

According to testimonies, the collision occurred at a stop, shortly before passengers disembarked.
