An incredible story of child pornography, with a central figure of a 53-year-old multi-awarded author of children's literature and manager of a large publishing house, is brought to the public by protothema.gr.
Vassilis Papatheodorou, is a multi-awarded author of children's and youth novels, who was arrested at the border of the autoforo and remanded in prison in Tripoli as he was "caught" by the special software of the Electronic Crime Prosecution visiting and downloading pornographic material of minors.
After an investigation that lasted more than a month, Prosecution analysts found in his files more than 100 videos with hard pornographic material with children under 12 years old. Thus, at the limits of the autoforo, he was arrested, facing criminal charges, remanded in custody and made his way to Tripoli prisons.
The case is evaluated by the officers of the service as extremely serious, as his connections with global child pornography circuits are also being investigated, while the possibility is being considered whether, in addition to downloading the disgusting material, the defendant in question had other activities.
