A 89-year-old man has been suing his XNUMX-year-old wife for beating her, as she complained, systematically for ten years. The police arrested the elderly woman in a spontaneous procedure, who was referred to the Three-Member Misdemeanor Court of Thessaloniki, accused of bodily harm against her husband and a report.
According to what the plaintiff complained about, who allegedly has been facing a vision problem for the last 6 months, his wife has been hitting him all over his body for 10 years, with his hands and feet. He complained that he was no longer being fed properly, testifying to the police that "I have two days to eat". "It's better for me to die, for me and her to calm down," she said characteristically.
The complaint was confirmed by a neighbor of the couple, who, examined by police, stated that she was watching what was happening and during the last episode that took place in the afternoon of the Holy Spirit, she called the old woman to stop, but she - according to the witness - did not answer and continued beating .
The elderly man will be examined by a medical examiner and asked for his elderly wife to be prosecuted. According to what became known, the couple lives in eastern Thessaloniki and has a son who lives abroad.
