He "passed away" at the age of 35 reporter Morfia Stamatopoulou.
The "goodbye" to Morfia Stamatopoulou
The family of "Ef.Syn." mourns the untimely death of her always smiling, despite the difficulties she was going through, colleague Morfia Stamatopoulou.
About a year ago, the first report he co-wrote was going to the printing house. We had put the title "Our hell (are not) the others" and we had obviously assigned the scientific documentation for the social and psychological effects of the pandemic - she may have taken her first steps as a reporter, but she was already a well-organized scientist. And she was excited - "Oh, but it's exciting! what else will we prepare? "
He entered the office for the first time while the pandemic was raging. And one of the first things she said - after the jokes we made about her weird name - was to see how the illness she was battling would not affect her work. This girl was delicate, but full of strength.
"I'm exhausted this time…"
A creature very smart, tender, kind, with a graceful and playful mood - surrendered to the joy of life even when she fought titans for her own life. Besides, she also represented the representation of laughter in literary texts and the function of laughter in the works of Luciano of Samosata in her doctoral dissertation at the University of Lund. And she never lost that beautiful smile - even when it hurt.
Morfia-Efthymia was only 35 years old and was full of beauty - in deeds, thoughts and words. "I will come tomorrow for treatment, I will call you to organize" - Morfia was full of dreams and passion. "I'm exhausted this time, but let's see what we can write" - Morfia had a longing for a creation that did not fade even in the hardest days she had to go through. "Thanks for the lists of books and documentaries, I will definitely have a lot of time now that I am back in the hospital" - Morfia joked even in her hard work.
Morfia was a part of the future of our newspaper, one of our children. And the words to say goodbye are too poor. Our warmest condolences to her father, our colleague George Stamatopoulos, to her family and friends.
We will say our last goodbyes tomorrow at 16.45 at the Ritsona Incinerator.
