The case with four children who were found passed out in a house in Magiko Xanthi on Friday morning after a gas leak takes on the proportions of a tragedy, as one of them, a 16-year-old boy, ended up in the Xanthi hospital where he was transferred.
His three sisters, who were taken in a comatose state by EKAV ambulances, have also been transferred to the same hospital. The two sisters, aged 18 and 15, are intubated while the third, aged 20, is being treated at the pathology clinic.
The children, who were reportedly sleeping downstairs in the house, were found passed out by their mother, who was sleeping with their father upstairs, when she went to wake them up.
According to the same information, the father was found in good condition and did not require hospitalization, while the mother was taken to the hospital but is in good condition.
Information from police sources transmitted by xanthinenews speak of a suffocating environment in the area where the children's bedrooms were, adding that the day before, work had been done outside the house to install a gas tank.
