The family of the 53-year-old rapist of Sepolia, Ilias Michou, is said to be shocked, with the son making the first public intervention on Thursday morning in the case that is shocking the whole of Greece.

Panagiotis Michos, a journalist by profession and in fact with a presence in major media outlets, characterizes the acts of which his father is accused as horrible and brutal, however asking the citizens not to become animals themselves by "killing" people who have no responsibility.

He himself, after the outbreak of the case of the rape of the 12-year-old girl in Sepolia by his father and the accusations of pimping, was fired from the newspaper "To Vima" where he worked.

See the post of Mr. Panagiotis Michos:

"The horrible and brutal acts of which my father is accused are beyond the reach of the human mind. But is there family responsibility?

Most people seem to adopt it. On Monday, October 10, the management of "To Vima" newspaper fired me. They identified me with what my father is accused of.

I am very proud that for two years I was diplomatic editor of "Vima". It was a great experience; I achieved it and lived it with my work. And I'm proud of it!

If there are beasts that do what we hear and read in the last days, make sure that you do not become a beast by 'killing', threatening or destroying people who have no responsibility."
